Doctor Mark Horowitz (MBBS, BSc, BA, MSc, PhD) is a psychiatry trainee and researcher, and someone who has experienced antidepressant withdrawal firsthand. His current work focuses on the best way for patients to taper off psychotropic medications, including antidepressants, antipsychotics and benzodiazepines and z-drugs, as well as a re-evaluation of the long term balance of benefits and harms of these medications in light of these withdrawal symptoms.
